1.  What is a sunroom?

Basically, a sunroom is an addition or an enclosed porch or patio area designed using windows and doors to admit a large amount of sunlight. Sunrooms are often referred to as solariums, conservatories, patio rooms, garden rooms, atriums, all season rooms, screened rooms or patio enclosures.

2.  How much does a sunroom cost?

The price depends on the size and style of the sunroom and the materials, glass and any other accessories and options that you may choose.  A designer will be happy to come to your home for a consultation and provide you with a price quote at no charge.

3.  Can I install a sunroom myself?

We recommend only professional installation by licensed and trained installers.  Since your home is often the largest investment you will ever make, we suggest protecting the future value of your home by only dealing with companies that provide you with fully insured and experienced sunroom installation professionals.

4.  Which direction should a sunroom face?

A south-facing sunroom will provide the most sunlight while a north-facing room will provide the least sunlight.  An east-facing room will be sunniest in the mornings while a west-facing sunroom will have the most sunlight in the afternoon and early evening.

5.  Can a sunroom be used year-round?

Yes. WE offers glass options for your sunroom which help keep it warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer, and windows that carry the prestigious ENERGY STAR label. ENERGY STAR qualified products have beenindependently certified to meet or exceed strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Energy.  By installing Energy Star eligible windows, you may receive a tax credit of 10% of the cost up to $200.  Please see www.energystar.gov for further details.

6.  What are the benefits of a sunroom vs. conventional construction?

A sunroom can be installed at a fraction of the cost and time required for conventional construction.  A sunroom is designed to withstand the elements and will not require painting and maintenance like a traditional wooden structure.  In addition, a sunroom provides more natural light for your family to enjoy and easily blends with the architectural lines of your home.

7.  Do you offer a warranty?

.

Yes, we are pleased to announce has partnered with Bank of America to offer a financing program at the most competitive rates available.  You can simply apply on-line and with our easy credit terms, you can start enjoying your new sunroom in just a few weeks.

10. How long does the construction process take?

Typically, it takes one or two weeks to build the room without a foundation. The amount of time between purchase and construction depends on the engineering and plot plan review process through your city/county. Regularly, it's an 8-12 week time frame from purchase to construction.
